2011 Nike Mag | The Greatest Shoe Never Made

Over twenty years ago when the producers of Back To The Future 2 were working on the movie, they approached Nike to come up with a futuristic shoe for the film. Nike's VP of Design and Innovation Tinker Hatfield then came up with the iconic sneaker we now know as the Nike Mag of 2015. This shoe had such features as EL Lights in the sole, power lacing, and magnetic technology. Although all of those features aren't possible yet in the model of 2011, the sneaker remained true to the original design and aesthetic of the film. The 2015 Nike Mag, known as the greatest shoe never made, is now here. Nike is to release 1,500 pairs for sale for both sneaker heads and film fanatics alike. In addition, all of the proceeds are to be given to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for a cure for Parkinson's. This video explains the story.
